About

Everyone complains that The News is broken–that it is more into causing or presenting a sensation than presenting the news or informing the public. While there is clearly some truth to that, my primary critique would be that too often the mainstream media presents information in isolation or too simply, just so it can fit into a time slot or so it can be understandable in 30 seconds or less. So, this blog is about unpacking news. Yes, it will be biased, as it should, but it hopefully explores more than one side. And my goal is to ask more questions than I answer. Events and developments should make us question, so that we can further mold our understanding of what is happening around us. I honestly don’t like my opinions to be set for too long, and this blog is meant to help others feel the same.
